On-line ticketing system powered by Bookitbee.com

We are now offering a brand new service, that gives your ticket buyers concrete reassurance when booking and organisers an additional level of insurance.  This is in the wake of increased media coverage of failed event stories in 2017 and our clients concern that consumer confidence in the industry needs a little boost.

By partnering up with Event Protect we are supporting our company’s clear goal of bringing people together at shared events, whilst also solving a very current customer problem. By the end of the year, our aim is that, majority of tickets sold through the LIVE IT Group will include event cancellation insurance*.

To cover the cost of this, a small fee of 2% is passed onto the ticket buyer which will be on the outside of the ticket price. We still believe our fees to be incredibly competitive and we hope you agree that this new fee structure gives you a further level of event cancellation protection in a cost-neutral way and makes your customers aware that if the unforeseen happens to your event, they will receive refunds in a direct and faster manner.

By selling tickets with us you will be able to show your customers that you are operating in a responsible manner, having insurance in place in the eventuality that the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control (see terms and conditions here).

The broad cover protects events from a wide range of risks from adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, key supplier failure, equipment damage/failure, revocation of licenses and many more. You can find more about the Event Protect Membership here.

You will have the Event Protect logo on your ticket page and customers will be notified that if an event is cancelled they are able to apply directly for a ticket refund via our refund procedure. Event Protect will also handle all claims and refunds on behalf of us and you as the event organiser. Following a successful claim by a ticket buyer, you (as the event organiser) will keep all ticket revenue earned and will not be required to refund the ticket buyer as this would be covered by Event Protect and their Insurance Providers.

* If you already have event cancellation insurance or feel that it is unnecessary, the Event Protect service can be disabled within your account dashboard area, it is the organiser not ticket buyer that controls whether the insurance is applied.
